A very Happy Raksha Bandhan to all from SBDIS Family. Raksha Bandhan simply means 'the bond of protection, obligation, or care’ and thus it signifies the bond between a sister and her brother. To celebrate this bond, a simple ceremony is performed when a sister ties Rakhi on the wrist of her brother as he promises to protect her from all the troubles. Both sisters and brothers then treat each other with gifts and surprises and share affection with each other.

The true meaning of life is to plant trees under whose shades you don't expect to sit. Let's remember that trees exhale for us so that we can inhale in order to stay alive. In fact, trees are the lungs of the world, purifying the air and giving fresh strength to the people. Thus, it is our responsibility to love trees with every breath we take before we perish. Realizing the urgency of planting trees, SBDIS, Bhadrak in collaboration with Chandbali Forest SubDivision organized a massive Plantation Drive in its New Campus (as a part of Van Mahotsav Week) on 6th July, 2020 with our Founder, Principal, Mentor, officials of Chandabali Forest Division and Mr Tapas Dhal (CTO, Naval Wing, NCC, SBDIS) leading from the front.

Graduation day marks the end of an old chapter and beginning of another chapter in life as well as in academics.It symbolizes new hopes,dreams and aspirations.It is about setting the tone for the future We have observed Graduation day for the KG students at our school Auditorium today with Pandit Sangram Acharya gracing the ceremony as the Chief guest.Our kids have stolen the show with their spectacular performances.We believe that the tender minds need to be filled with confidence and this is what Graduation day tries to achieve.

Science Day observed at SBDIS. SBDIS,synonymous with quality education always walks an extra mile to promote scientific temperament and create the ambience that can heighten scientific innovation among the students .On 28th February,2020,we observed Science Day in our School premises.Students of Class 10 and 22 enthralled one and all with awesome Projects that have managed to steal the imagination of teachers and students alike..Principal congratulated all concerned for putting up brilliant efforts to make the programme highly successful.Mr Pandey and Dr Danish,Mr Girija gave talk on the,topics related to Physics and Biology.Mr Amaresh mesmerized all present with his project that was appreciated by all Mr Bikram proposed vote of thanks.
