Valedictory Ceremony

One of the most painful things to do is to say goodbye to the person you love, the institution that is close to your heart and the environment that has become an inseparable part of life. We, at SBDIS, have recently observed the Valedictory Ceremony for class 12 and Blessing Ceremony for class 10 students in an emotionally charged atmosphere. The Students and teachers have walked down the memory lane and recollected memorable incidents that have taken place here. All of them are all praises for the school and they believe that the school will continue to shine like a luminary star. The students of class 10 and 12 are showered with blessings for their upcoming examination. Dr. Narahari Behera, B.D.O, Simulia Block and Mrs Sumita Pati, H.O.D, Communicative English, B.E.S.T, Asurali have graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and Guest of Honor respectively. Our Chairman, Mr. Debasis Dixit has given the welcome address whereas our Director cum Principal Mr. Yudhistir Debata has administered Oath to our students. Prof. Sailendra Mohapatra has blessed the students with his words of wisdom on this occasion.
Basant Pachami

Our school celebrated Basant Panchami to honour the Goddess of knowledge and education. Traditional rituals were performed and offerings of flowers and fruits were made to the Goddess Saraswati. The event was celebrated with a lot of devotion and dedication by worshipping the Goddess who is the fountainhead of all learning and art forms. The ritual was graced with the presence of all the students, staff, faculties and some parents. The event was ended by serving prasad to everyone present.

There can't be a better moment other than the one when you win prizes and make everyone feel proud of you. Your happiness is redoubled when you do the same consistently. Our students have made winning prizes a regular habit. They walked away with 1st prizes in different competitions organized by D.E.O., Bhadrak to mark National voters day. 1. R.S. Amrita - Speech (2nd Prize) 2. Ayesha Ipsita Parida - Essay (1st Prize) 3. Sudeep Das - Poster Making (1st Prize) 4. Sneha Das - Rangoli (1st Prize) 5. Suryasnata Bhanja - Quiz (1st Prize) Apart from this, our students also made us feel proud when they won different prizes in the district level parade held at Nehru Stadium, Bhadrak on 26th January, 2020.
